12/29/20 and a Happy New Year!

What's up!
As it comes closer to me actually going back to school, and subsequently a new year, I'd like to give a run down of how I'd like further development of Panic Machine to actually operate:

1. Get a proof of concept in another engine. Clickteam Fusion 2.5 can't last us forever, and I have other ambitions too.

2. Recreate the entirety of the playable demo in said engine, cementing everything needed.

3. Finish the game.

Some things I'd like to consider in between this simple three step process:

Make sure I have enough time and energy to dedicate to this.

Don't destroy my body trying to get this to happen.

If people would be willing, gather a team to help out or make an outline to work off of. As far as this post, it's been a one-man job all the way.

Even though the game is as simple as it is, the development from a new engine might take 2+ years. Maybe less if I put less attention to detail, but we will see when it happens.

I myself would like to learn coding to not only help further push these kind of projects but also make my own in my spare time. During my college years later down the line (aka like 2 more years oh boy cant wait), I will be taking coding and programming classes. I will use this for the games going forward and for other things as well. I'd absolutely LOVE to not be the one doing coding, but since I don't think anyone cares the slightest bit for a game that hasn't gotten out of alpha, I don't think I have an option. So until then, this game may be stuck in development hell. Fair warning.

I'd like to personally say sorry to the at least 2 people out there that genuinely wanted to see this game succeed for the huge hiatuses. Until I feel that I would be in the right to actually pick this up and serve it justice, I will voluntarily put it on hold. I want to make this as good as it can be, and with my current knowledge of coding/lack thereof, I don't think we are gonna get far.

I'll continue with the updates, however I'd just like to ask for the best of luck, for me and anyone that might get involved with this project in the future. They/I will need it.
